I'll be giving a drawing and painting workshop as part of the Utopia and Inebriation conference at the Conguillio National Park in deep southern Chile.
This workshop will focus on drawing and/or painting local plants. One of the best ways to learn about this unique ecology is through observing its natural world. You will learn the basics of botanical art as we draw and paint local plants. Basic instruction in watercolor and graphite will be given.
Bring your small kit of watercolors, brushes, paper, pencils, and eraser (white plastic). Hot pressed watercolor paper (minimum texture) is preferred. Round watercolor brushes number 2 and 4. A magnifying glass (optional). Small palettes will be provided.
