Closing with “Flowers and fruits. Looking at the masters.”

Botanical Art at Fairchild
This class for the beginner and advanced student focuses on the representation of tropical plants in watercolor and graphite. Students draw and paint using fresh plant material collected at Fairchild (provided). Drawing from traditional botanical illustration techniques and contemporary interpretations of flora, this class encourages expressive freedom while still honoring the beauty inherent in its plant subjects. Basic instruction in watercolor will be given as well as advanced Join us for lively discussions and exchange of ideas on materials, techniques and composition.
